Hailing out of Norway, this trio of terror is coming out with their second release entitled "One More for the Gallows". Call it grindcore, crustcore or whatever you want but it is filled with filthiness and neck-snapping speed, with very prominent elements of Slayer, Venom, and Celtic Frost. This album shows its listeners a lot of promise but unfortunately does not deliver too much in the way of variety.

The self-titled track starts us off with an explosion of guitar and drums followed by low growls and harsh vocals delivered by K. The guitar wails off in the background while continuing with a head-banging groove. ""Slavedrivers of Ur" carries a great riff that unfortunately changes back mid-way through back into the same tempo that we heard on the first track. This then continues onto the third track, "Ornaments" though I have to give K props on vocals, he knows how to deliver brutality. This goes on until you hit "Beasts of the Night" where they finally give this track more of a punk groove instead of the constant beating of the drums. Enough! We get it, you can play fast! This change was very much welcome.

After that it's more of the same until they get to the closer "Vivisection" where they take it up one more notch, in other words they were at 10 and they took it up to eleven. The bridge has some great guitar effects before throwing you right back into the pit. Look I'm not slamming these guys on their talent, they show they have an unlimited supply of that but as far as giving me something that's going to make me stand up and notice? That's where they fall a little flat which is something that can always be improved over time.
