Pretty Maids hailing out of Denmark have been battling to get their music across the world, maybe that's because of underprivileged management and label distribution problems that isn't pushing them as hard as they should be. Remember this is my judgment as I see fit because they shouldn't be overlooked. This album has been hitting the charts in Sweden and Germany for awhile now and although they're in the 80s, this album in my books would be in my top 20 for 2010 thus far.

They're one of the melodic heavy metal veterans that have been hiding in a deep forest way to long and it's time for me to unleash this mayhem to the rest of the world. It's about time they got a new producer, Jacob Hansen on their metal threshold. Their newest release "Pandemonium" is striking with energy, immense dynamics, and overall their songwriting ability shines down upon my metal throne.

I take pleasure in lead vocalist Ronnie Atkins' self-possessed melodies, listening to guitarist Ken Hammer as he lays down severe harmonies with an old school feeling through his creative sound effects that gives me goose bumps while listening to "Breathless", "Final Day Of Innocence" and "I.N.V.U" with a germane. While adding to "I.N.V.U" it has progressive riffing and to boot the battling between the tempos between the guitars and keyboards makes this song more enjoyable and takes me into deep thoughts. Bassist Kenn Jackson is retiring after 19 years with this band and Hal Patino has taken over with new strengths that deliver.

"One World One Truth" and "Old Enough To Know" make me crawl back for more. "Pandemonium" is a pure master-piece that stands on its own and I've taken notice. It would definitely be an album that I would never be uninterested in of for years to come.
