Nader Sadek is a unique collaboration consisting of Steve Tucker (ex-Morbid Angel), Rune Eriksen (formerly of Ava Inferi/Mayhem), and Cryptopsy drummer Flo Mounier. Not to mention Nader Sadek himself; visual artist, conductor, creative director of this project. A project that takes you through the progression of the earth's decay and the end of mankind itself, Nader Sadek presents his ideas to Tucker and Eriksen giving them room to build upon them. The end result is a solid slab of brutal death metal with insane riffs and crushing rhythm section.

"Petreophilia" is one that enters into that indescribable riffing area as it launches itself forward at full speed only to slow a little towards the middle so you can hear the complete ferocity of Tucker's vocals, and then throws you right back in again. "Of This Flesh" takes it down a heavier route with pounding drums and screeching guitars that are played with a massive thickness that just envelopes you from beginning to end. "Soulless" brings in a complex guitar solo from Eriksen as well as the instrumental ending on the track that shows all members performing at top notch.

"Mechanic Idolatry" is brilliantly done with a tremendous riff and dual guitars that takes off once again with expert precision. The double pedal drum from Flo just adds to the insanity with killer technique. Nader Sadek closes out with "Nigredo in Necromance", an atmospheric track that is an incredibly dark and mystical at the same time. The onslaught of blastbeats only compliments the dual guitars and ripping that Eriksen lays out for us one more time.

My only worry with the album is the timing of this release. Right in between new hate Eternal and Morbid Angel might not be the best time for this project to be put out to get its proper acknowledgement. I'm hoping this doesn't get overshadowed because "In the Flesh" is more than worthy of your attention!
