19. Amon Amarth: Twilight Of The Thunder God

A lot would have been expected from artist Tom Thiel as this was an album written about fictional comic-book type themes based on mythical characters. Even an 8-page comic book series was released in European magazines to accompany the release. He delivered in grand style by creating a cover featuring Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, in battle with Jormungandr, a sea serpent in Norse mythology. A breathtaking picture.
